• Hedgesville man arrested after fleeing police (morganmessenger.com) — A Hedgesville resident faces multiple charges after allegedly fleeing West Virginia State Police during a nighttime pursuit on Route 9 in late May. Troopers say the driver abandoned his vehicle near Tanager Lane, was later located through an investigation, and is now being held at Eastern Regional Jail on bond while awaiting a hearing.
