(savingcountrymusic.com) — A celebrated Nashville session guitarist, Wayne Moss was born in South Charleston and went on to shape some of the most iconic sounds in American music, including “Pretty Woman” and “Jolene.” His death at 88 closes a remarkable career that took a West Virginia native from local bands in Charleston to legendary Nashville studios and the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame.
