• FEMA Funds Eyed for Repairs to Recreation Facilities (theintelligencer.net) — Wheeling officials are moving ahead with FEMA-funded repairs to the I-470 baseball field and Greggsville Playground, both damaged in last year's flash flooding. Bids are out now, with work expected this fall and completion by December, while additional flood-related fixes, including a Parkview road slip and sewer line project, are also nearing approval.

His strong relay performances helped the Cardinals dominate their conference rivals and set an encouraging tone for the rest of the season in Wheeling's growing athletics program.
