City officials, first responders, and veterans urged the Appleton community to keep sharing stories of that day so future generations understand its impact and continue strengthening local unity.

State vaccination numbers show rise in personal-conviction waivers for school vaccines (weau.com) — New state data show more Wisconsin families using personal‑conviction waivers for school vaccines, and Appleton's overall student vaccination rate has slipped from 93% to 89% since 2018.
