6:35pm Lighten Up!
Candle Lighting
Join Jewish women and girls the world over in lighting a holiday candle for each family member, ushering in a year of peace and blessings.
6:45pm Why are we here?
Evening Services begin with an overview of Rosh Hashana’s history and significance, followed by a brief service.
6:45pm High Holiday Youth Services
Kids learn the significance of Rosh Hashanah services. Then they’ll join the adults for traditional songs at close of the services and help serve the Kiddush refreshments that follow.
7:25pm Soul Food
Kiddush and Light Refreshments
Following services, Kiddush (prayer over the wine) is recited, and traditional honey cake and pomegranates are tasted. Sit back and Kvel as the kids serve and instruct us on the significance of these foods and the appropriate prayers to say.
No membership required - Services are open to all and free!
