The Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay equips students for back to school (gopresstimes.com) — Green Bay families packed the Salvation Army's Kroc Center for the One Stop School Shop, where thousands of local K–12 students received free backpacks, supplies, and connections to community resources. With the Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay now leading the effort, leftover items will go to Green Bay Area Public Schools to keep supporting students in need throughout the year.
   

2. Green Bay man facing 10+ drug charges, cash bond set at $100k (wearegreenbay.com) — A 45-year-old Green Bay man faces more than ten drug charges after an eight-month police investigation involving controlled buys across the city and a traffic-stop arrest near I-41 and Lombardi Avenue. Officers say they seized additional drugs from his car and apartment, and his cash bond is set at $100,000. He's scheduled for a preliminary court hearing on September 4.
   

3. Green Bay Flock critics pushing for local & state legislative reform (fox11online.com) — Green Bay residents concerned about Flock license plate cameras are organizing, urging city and state officials to tighten privacy protections or remove the devices. City leaders and police say the cameras are a valuable safety tool and are preparing policy updates and audits, leaving locals to weigh security benefits against civil liberties in their own neighborhoods.
   

4. Captain Morgan Tailgate Tour, Yung Gravy rolling in for Badgers game (greenbaypressgazette.com) — Green Bay fans heading to the Notre Dame–Wisconsin game at Lambeau Field on Sept. 6 can join Captain Morgan's national Tailgate Tour outside the Resch Complex. The free fan experience runs 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and features games, giveaways, and a special appearance by UW alum and rapper Yung Gravy before kickoff.
   

5. Bay Port students launch interactive fundraiser for National Railroad Museum expansion (wearegreenbay.com) — Green Bay residents are being invited to support a major expansion of the National Railroad Museum through a creative new online fundraiser built by two Bay Port High School students. Their "Track Around the World" platform turns each donation into a virtual train journey that unlocks railroad history, all aimed at closing a $500,000 gap for the Fox River expansion project.
