Main Street bridge in Green Bay to close again, from Oct. 12-30 (greenbaypressgazette.com) — Drivers in Green Bay should prepare for the Main Street bridge to be completely closed to vehicles and pedestrians from October 12–30, with detours routed via Broadway, Walnut Street, and Monroe Avenue. The extended closure follows construction delays and technical challenges on the 1990s-era bridge, which carries about 13,000 vehicles daily and has already seen multiple schedule changes this year.

SEASON PREVIEW: Green Bay women's basketball to tip off 2026-27 season (wearegreenbay.com) — UW-Green Bay's women's basketball team is gearing up for a new season, starting with an Oct. 17 home exhibition at the Kress Event Center.
