2. New Oil Drop-Off Site Now Open (cityofmadison.com) — Madison has opened a new public used motor oil drop-off site at 1504 Quann-Olin Parkway, giving residents a third city-run location for safely disposing of oil and filters. The Engineering Division manages the always-open sites, where you must pour oil into on-site tanks and keep contaminants like gasoline and antifreeze out. Staff regularly test collected oil for PCBs and direct other hazardous materials to Dane County Clean Sweep.

3. Madison native enters crowded race for mayor, vows to put community first (wkow.com) — A Madison east side bartender and Wisconsin Golden Gloves champion, Marcus Robert Johnson, has joined the race to be the city's next mayor, emphasizing honest leadership and respect. He'll face incumbent Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway and several well-known local figures, including Kaleem Caire and former alders Syed Abbas, Brian Benford and April Kigeya, in an already crowded field.

4. MPD investigating string of burglaries, car thefts on city's southwest side (cityofmadison.com) — Madison police are investigating a string of overnight home burglaries and vehicle thefts on the city's southwest side, including incidents on Hartford Drive, Woodstone Drive, Grove Circle, Camino Way, Maple Run Court and nearby neighborhoods off McKee Road. Several stolen vehicles were later found abandoned, and residents are urged to share any tips with Madison Area Crime Stoppers, which allows anonymous reports and possible rewards.

The poodle is 18 yrs old and sadly living at the DCHS currently and adoption fee is waived. The Beagle boy is 13 yrs old and sadly living at the… (Nextdoor Meadowood) - A tan dog is in the soccer field at Warner Park on the North Sherman side of the park right next to the fence.
Unfortunately, we did not have time to stop and help him/her. The dog looked terrified… It was covering by the fence. (Nextdoor East Bluff Homeowners)
