Falls Volleyball Team Falls to Hosts in Lancer Invite
Indians won all their pool matches, then topped rival Muskego before losing to Brookfield Central.
The Menomonee Falls volleyball team reached the semifinals of the Lancer Invitational at Brookfield Central on Saturday.
The Indians dominated their pool play, defeating West Bend West, Waukesha West and Cedarburg. In the quarterfinals they topped rival Muskego, 25-21, 21-25, 15-13. Muskego eliminated the Indians from the WIAA state semifinals last year.
But in the semifinals, host Brookfield Central came away with a 25-12, 24-26, 15-6 win. The Lancers then defeated Pius for the title.
