Heady Times for Menomonee Falls Boys Soccer Team

Indians are No. 1 seed in sectional that begins Tuesday.

Menomonee Falls has never been to the WIAA boys soccer state tournament, but 2011 could be the year.

The Indians (17-3-2, 5-2-0 Greater Metro Conference) own the No. 1 seed in their 16-team sectional, which begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday with a home game against 16th-seeded West Allis Central.

Falls has victories over both Brookfield East and Brookfield Central, which are the second- and third-seeded teams in this sectional. The Indians have lost only to unbeaten and No. 1-ranked Marquette, to Appleton North and to Wauwatosa East, which is the No. 6 seed in this powerhouse sectional.
