• Mequon pizza shop owner on his fight to keep the business he loves alive after scam (tmj4.com) — A Mequon pizza vendor at the Mequon Public Market is asking neighbors for help after losing $9,000 in an overpayment scam that hit his small business hard. Owner Laron Taylor of Mad Rush Pizza has launched a GoFundMe as he struggles with rising costs and health issues, and he hopes sharing his story will also warn other local business owners about similar frauds.
   

• National Finalists light up with joy at Whistling Straits (drivechipandputt.com) — A 7-year-old golfer from Mequon, Ruby Appleby, has earned a trip to the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals at Augusta National after winning her division at Whistling Straits.
