• Mequon-Thiensville elementary students awarded County Fair Art Awards (gmtoday.com) — Mequon-Thiensville elementary students from Donges Bay and Oriole Lane schools were honored Sept. 24 at the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts for artwork displayed at the Ozaukee County Fair. Six young artists from Mequon schools earned Best Overall awards across several grades, while two more received Merit Awards, highlighting the strength of local visual arts education and student creativity.
