Allstate employees earn $11,000 grant for Ronald McDonald House

The Allstate Foundation grant to support nonprofit's work to house families while children receive medical care at area hospitals

MILWAUKEE, Nov. 13, 2017 – Eleven Allstate agency owners and financial specialists from Milwaukee and the surrounding area recently came together to secure a $11,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands® grant to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin. The grant will support the nonprofit organization’s mission to keep families close while children receive medical treatment at local hospitals.

The agency owners and financial specialists each earned $1,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin by preparing and serving meals to families so they could stay by their child’s side as they received medical treatment during an event held at the Ronald McDonald House in Milwaukee in July. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin will use the $11,000 grant to further its work in the community.

The participating Allstate volunteers are among thousands of Allstate agency owners and financial specialists around the country working to strengthen communities by volunteering their time to support the causes they care about most.
