City Brew Tours Milwaukee Open for Public Tours
Fans and enthusiasts of craft beer invited to experience Milwaukee's best craft breweries on up-close, interactive, all-inclusive tours
City Brew Tours Milwaukee, part of North America’s best and oldest interactive craft brewery tour experience, today announced it is officially open for both public and private tours in Brew City itself, Milwaukee, Wis. Uniquely offering round-trip transportation, behind-the-scenes access to Milwaukee’s best breweries, a personal guide to take each guest through the brewing process, and plenty of samples, City Brew Tours Milwaukee offers an educational, fun, and unforgettable craft beer experience.
City Brew Tours Milwaukee, which works to highlight local breweries, is owned and operated by local businessman and beer enthusiast Ken Carrano who has been touring the best breweries in the country for decades. Carrano was introduced to the City Brew Tours concept in Charlotte, N.C. where he experienced a new level of camaraderie, education, and fun surrounding the craft beer industry.
“What I loved about my first City Brew Tour is that I got to experience several great breweries all on one tour, as part of a fun and educational opportunity of seeing how multiple breweries operate. It provides for an experience that guests can’t have by just walking into a brewery off the street,” said Carrano. “I came home and couldn’t stop thinking about how the people of Milwaukee would love this concept – a fun, interactive, all-inclusive experience touring some of the best breweries in one of the best beer cities on the map!”

With two centuries of brewing history and heritage, Milwaukee is home to both storied establishments and up-and-coming nano-breweries. At opening, Carrano is partnering with 11 breweries for the tours, including both longstanding operations like Lakefront, and the newest breweries such as Ope! and Perspective Brewery.
Public tours, which can be booked directly through the website, are available Thursday through Saturday evenings as well as Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Public tours are offered in two forms – the Original Tour and the Sip of Milwaukee Tour. The Original Tour lasts five hours, includes up to 16 beer samples across four breweries, and includes a full beer and meal pairing. The Sip of Milwaukee Tour lasts 3.5 hours and includes up to 12 beer samples across three brewers as well as a snack. Private Tours are available most any day of the week pending brewery availability and can accommodate groups and celebrations of all kinds and sizes.
