Here are a few ways to volunteer and make a difference in our community.

Volunteer Milwaukee, a service of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee features both one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities in our community. Here are a few ways to help this summer.
· Early Childhood Education Classrooms - Assist young children birth to Kindergarten, some with special needs in classroom activities;weekday mornings and afternoons this summer. Contact St. Francis Children's Center at kpetersen@sfcckids.org or 414-351-8851.
· Space Adventure Camp - Assist teacher with outer space activities July 10-14 forchildren ages 3-6; weekday morning hours. Contact Bay View Community Center at kschubring@bayviewcenter.org or 414-482-1000.

· Classroom Assitant for Young Children - Help children infant-6 years old with outdoor/indoor play, arts and crafts and lunch weekdays.Contact Penfield Children's Center at ellenanderson@penfieldchildren.org or 414-345-6376.
· Feed the Kids - Make sandwiches any weekday morning to feed hungry children at The Salvation Army of Milwaukee County’s Distribution Center June 20-August 24. Contact Nancy Zompolas at nancy_zompolas@usc.salvationarmy.org or 414-302-4300.

· Baseball Coach and Umpires - COA Youth & Family Centers needs baseball coaches and umpires June 22–August 1 for practices and games; must have experience/knowledge in baseball. Contact llysaght@coa-yfc.org or 414-263-8383.
