Request for One Act Play Submissions for 38th Annual One Act Festival

Village Playouse is seeking submissions for its 38th Annual Original One Act Festival exclusively featuring the work of WI playwrights.

(Milwaukee, Wisconsin) Village Playhouse is accepting play submissions for its 38th Annual Original One Act Festival. Writers must be Wisconsin residents and the play must be unpublished as of January 31, 2023. All genres are welcome and script length should be between 10 and 45 minutes. This annual one act festival is the only one of its kind in Wisconsin to exclusively feature the work of Wisconsin playwrights.

Submissions should be emailed in PDF format to oneactfestival@villageplayhouse.org. Playwrights must also complete an online submission form: https://forms.gle/ymHRYGbqhndp4i3q9. Writers with questions may phone 414.207.4879.

Final play selection will be made in early March. The 38th Annual Original One Act Festival will be presented June 9-18, 2023 at Interchange Theater, 628 N 10th Street in Milwaukee.
