Snowy Morning For Parts Of WI, But Mild Temps May Be On The Way: NWS
Parts of southeast Wisconsin woke up to snow flurries Monday morning, according to reports.
WISCONSIN — Parts of southeastern Wisconsin woke up to snow flurries outside their windows Monday morning.
Some in Waukesha and Milwaukee counties saw a brief blast of snow around 6 a.m., according to WISN12. A storm chaser from TMJ4 saw flurries in a parking lot in Slinger.
The snow came as the National Weather Service placed much of the region under a freeze warning. Temperatures as low as 30 were expected in southeast Wisconsin until 9 a.m. on Monday, the NWS said.

The brief snow could mix with rain before 1 p.m., the NWS forecast said. Into Monday afternoon rain showers could last between 1-4 p.m., then chances of snow mixed with rain begin again, according to the NWS forecast.
Accumulation appeared limited in the morning, if present at all, but throughout the day the NWS said a total daytime accumulation of less than 1/2 an inch is possible.

The snowy Monday in southeastern Wisconsin came after early-season snow hit part of the state on Friday.
For some areas in northwestern Wisconsin plus Minnesota, Friday brought the first accumulating snow of the year, according to AccuWeather.

Here's the rest of the forecast for the greater Milwaukee area from the NWS:
Monday evening: A chance of rain and snow showers before 9 p.m. with a slight chance of snow between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Cloudy overnight with temps around 30 and an overall 30 percent chance of precipitation.
Tuesday: A high near 45 but breezy and mostly cloudy. Into the evening remains blustery.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high around 46. Into the evening, cloudy, with a high around 33.
Thursday: Partly sunny with a high around 53. Into the evening, mostly cloudy, with a low around 37.
Friday: Mostly sunny during the day with a high around 65. Into the evening a low around 43 and partly cloudy.
