Vios Fertility Institute Announces Milwaukee "Top Docs"

Vios Fertility Institute announces today that doctors Ellen Hayes MD, FACOG and Dr. Kara Ehlers, MD, FACOG have made the “Top Docs 2020” list for Milwaukee magazine. This year’s 800+ honorees were selected by their peers in a survey conducted by Professional Research Service Co. of Troy, Michigan. The doctors surveyed and selected were from Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, Washington and Racine counties.

Dr. Hayes is a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist who delivers quality care and unwavering support to patients facing the heartbreak of infertility. Her custom care plans are based on each patient’s individual needs and health history. Whether they require counseling, fertility treatments, a surgical procedure, or all three, Dr. Hayes is present every step of the way. She received her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago- Stritch School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Medical College of Wisconsin. In 2004 Dr. Hayes completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Emory University Medical Center and has been focused on all aspects of advanced reproductive technology with a specialized interest in diminished ovarian reserve, fertility preservation, and recurrent pregnancy loss. She is the co-Director for Vios Center of Excellence in Reproductive Wellness and a renowned expert in in vitro fertilization (IVF) and hysteroscopic surgery. Board-certified in both Obstetrics & Gynecology and REI. Dr. Hayes is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Dr. Ehlers is a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist who provides cutting-edge treatment and unwavering hope to individuals and couples facing infertility. She incorporates evidence-based, minimally invasive fertility treatments into a custom plan personalized for each patient. Dr. Ehlers received her medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at one of the busiest OB/Gyn programs in the country -UT Southwestern. In 2017, she completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. As a researcher, author and presenter, Dr. Ehlers is renowned for her work in the area of polycystic ovarian syndrome diagnosis and treatment. In addition, she has authored a number of scientific publications focused on women’s health and infertility. Dr. Ehlers is the co-Director for Vios Center of Excellence in PCOS and is a member of both the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

In addition, Dr. Ehlers recently transitioned from serving patients in the Milwaukee and Lake Country areas to the Vios clinics in the Chicagoland area including Aurora and Glenview.
