Wisconsin Coronavirus Cases Surpass 18K; Deaths Near 600

ACROSS WISCONSIN — The Wisconsin Department of Health Services on Saturday reported an additional 523 positive cases of COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus. The new cases bring the number of confirmed illnesses to 18,230.
The number of deaths from the new coronavirus also climbed by 20, bringing the total fatalities to 588.
So far, the state has administered 261,138 tests. Of those who tested positive, 2,563 have required hospitalization.

The most impacted Wisconsin counties include:
- Milwaukee County: 7,656 cases, 299 deaths
- Brown County: 2,318 cases, 37 deaths
- Racine County: 1,714 cases, 36 deaths
- Kenosha County: 1,165 cases, 30 deaths
- Dane County: 725 cases, 29 deaths
- Waukesha County: 690 cases, 30 deaths
- Rock County: 632 cases, 19 deaths
- Walworth County: 392 cases, 17 deaths
- Washington County: 248 cases, 7 deaths
- Outagamie County: 223 cases, 8 deaths
- Ozaukee County: 160 cases, 11 deaths
