Case FACT Students Take It to the Hallway

Efforts to try and educate their peers about the risks of tobacco included revealing pieces of poster.

The FACT (Fighting Against Corporate Tobacco) students want their peers to know that smoking isn't cool, it's deadly.

Using a sneaky tactic modeled after what they feel are the same sneaky ways used by tobacco companies, members of FACT peeled away pieces of a poster over the course of several days to reveal the word, "Cancer."

Fighting Against Corporate Tobacco (FACT) members at Case High School are taking it to the hallways to inform other students about the sneaky tactics that tobacco companies are using to hook new users.

By decorating the 'Reveal the FACTs Banner,' a FACTivism from the Manipulicious campaign, Case students covered up the message: Cancer: That's What's Hiding in Big Tobacco's Candy Coating, which they revealed throughout the week at Case High School.

This FACTivism is just one of many that the Case HS FACT group has done to educate their peers and to encourage them not to be the next victims of the Big Tobacco companies.
