Reminder: No School for Racine Unified Students Oct. 28
What used to be a 2-day mini-break has been reduced to a day.
Kids everywhere are saddened by the news that their annual, October mini-break gets cut to just a day. Parents, however, rejoice over not having to find alternatives to school for two days.
All students will be off this Fri., Oct. 28, for a staff development day.
School used to be closed the last Thursday and Friday of October for the annual teachers' convention, but that has changed to a staff development day.
