Crime Corner: Suspicious Man Reported in Neigborhood
Police respond to man who was observed lurking in car, leaving with no lights.

Amid several routine reports, police ask for special attention to suspicious activities.
April 29, 2011 –
Subjects in a white, 1980’s era small vehicle, possibly a Toyota, were observed stealing the street signs from the intersection of Crowbar Road and James Court, with the subjects actually bending the sign post down to reach the signs. The vehicle was last seen going westbound on Alameda Dr. in the Town of Vernon.

May 4 –
Wire was stolen from a house under construction in the W14700 block of Belle Chasse Parkway.

At approximately 10:00pm, a resident in the W13500 block of Sherwood Circle saw a male subject sitting in a newer Toyota in front of her house. He ducked down when the homeowner came home and sat there for several minutes before leaving the area with his lights off.
May 5, 2011 –
A 23 year old Muskego man was arrested during a traffic stop near the intersection of Woods Road and Lannon Drive for an outstanding warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia. A search following his arrest resulted in him being charged again with possession of drug paraphernalia.
A suspicious silver vehicle with no plates driving around the neighborhood was reported. The investigation revealed that a local resident was preparing a vehicle to put it up for sale, and there was no problem.
