Crime Corner: Two Big Screen TVs Stolen from Home

Resident reports burglary over the weekend.

Friday, June 10 – a 49 year old Wind Lake man was arrested for drunk driving and possession of drugs on Racine Avenue near Thornapple Trail, after information regarding a possible drunk driver was received from New Berlin Police

Sunday, June 12 – The burglary of a residence in the S6400 block of Hillendale Dr. was reported around 10:30pm.  It was believed the burglary occurred between 9:00am on Saturday, June 11, and when it was reported on Sunday, June 12.  Among other items, two big screen televisions were taken and an investigation is continuing.

A caller on Cornell Circle reported a suspicious silver van driving in the area, which struck a sign and left the area.  The vehicle was located, and the driver explained that he had been testing the brakes after fixing them.  The sign was not damaged.

Officers responded to Quizno’s, on Janesville and Moorland Road for a report of an employee whose car, a red Chevy Cavalier, was “keyed” while parked at the business.

The police department received numerous calls from the area of Brookside Dr. and Spring Lane regarding subjects banging on doors and running away.  Officers were able to locate and advise an 18 year old Muskego man regarding the childish behavior.

A Muskego woman reported her teal bicycle and cell phone were stolen around 12:30pm, while she was at Jetz on Janesville and Moorland Road.
