Mark Shogren Pleads Not Guilty

Mark Shogren, who allegedly stabbed his wife Gloria during a domestic dispute on the night of March 5, was arraigned on Thursday morning in Waukesha County Court. Police reports had indicated that Gloria had sustained four stabbing

During his brief appearance before Judge William Domina, Shogren's attorney Gerald Boyle entered a plea of not guilty.

Boyle also stated that "it's a matter of great importance because it's a serious charge we're facing," and requested a status hearing, which was set for June 13 at 9 a.m.

The status hearing or conference will allow the defense to review what motions remain pending, what discovery needs to be completed, what future hearings are needed, whether settlement is likely, and whether a trial should be scheduled.
