• Local communities contemplate future Flock usage (gmtoday.com) — New Berlin is one of several Waukesha County communities being sued over how police use Flock license plate reader data, with plaintiffs seeking to require warrants for database searches. While Waukesha and Oconomowoc are ending their Flock contracts, other nearby municipalities are still reviewing or continuing the technology, and New Berlin's mayor is declining comment because of the ongoing litigation.
