• Lawsuit challenges warrantless Flock database searches in county (gmtoday.com) — New Berlin is one of several Waukesha County communities being sued by a citizens group seeking to require police to get a warrant before searching Flock's vehicle-tracking database. The lawsuit argues the rapidly expanding camera network enables warrantless mass surveillance, with millions of searches conducted by local and outside agencies. Local departments and Waukesha County declined comment, citing pending litigation.
