$1,000 In Goods Stolen In Vehicle Break-In On Birdsong

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police were dispatched to the 6800 block of S. Birdsong Drive on Aug. 7 on a report that a suspect broke into a vehicle.

According to police reports, the vehicle was rummaged through. One Guess backpack valued at $200, a Microsoft Surface Pro Tablet valued at $800, a checkbook, wallet and approximately 200 payroll checks from BG Staffing were also taken from the vehicle.

The wallet with cards was recovered on-scene by police and returned to the owner. Police are continuing their investigation.
