Alien-Believing Man Attempts to Lure National Guard to his House With Twinkie Box

OAK CREEK, WI — An Oak Creek man has been banned from a local National Guard Armory building after the man attempted to lure members to his house with a letter that stated that he was God.

This week, an Oak Creek woman who was propositioned by a male suspect to deliver a box of "Desert Storm Trading Cards" to the local National Guard Armory for the sum of $70 felt the proposition was out of the ordinary, and called Oak Creek police.

According to the police report, a police officer responded and observed a plastic shopping bag hanging on the back door handle of the armory entrance on Feb. 5.
Upon opening the package, the officer found the trading cards inside a Twinkie box, which was filled with tissues and a card.

That card contained a message that asked for the National Guard personnel to come to his home with a message that further stated "I'm God."

An officer returned the package to its sender and informed the man that he is not welcome on the National Guard Annex property.

The day before on Feb. 4, a caller with the National Guard notified police that they received a "weird call" from a male suspect, who reportedly made vague threats against the army, that he had been contacted by extraterrestrials, and God, and that he was going to stop by that day to "cleanse it."

Oak Creek police were able to trace the phone call to an area resident, and also spoke with Franklin police about the man, whom they have had prior contact.
According to the report, Franklin police stated that the man was known for contacting military recruiting stations.

When police made contact with the man at his residence, the man reportedly told officers that "he did not mean to harm anyone, but would like to meet with someone from the military regarding the aliens."

Oak Creek police told the man that the current cell phone systems available to humankind were not adequate to communicate with them.
