Here in Wisconsin, we have had our share of Creepy Clown sightings, but so far they have been mostly benign. Here is your local Creepy Clown rundown.

Oak Creek

In Oak Creek, the police department has received their share of reports from community members suggesting that a Creepy Clown is going around threatening kids.

On Wednesday, they issued a release stating that the clown "is no credible threat. It has been reported that “copycat” costume clowns have been seen in the Oak Creek area."

Racine

In Racine, a social media post tripped the alarm bells at a local middle school.

According to a FOX 6 report, Racine police on Wednesday afternoon, October 5th responded to Jerstad-Agerholm Middle School following a “creepy clown” report. Officers learned an employee at the school received information about clowns coming to the school. Police didn’t find any clowns near the school.

Milwaukee

According to a WTMJ report, two underage girls have been arrested for making ‘creepy clown’ threats in southeastern Wisconsin. One of those threats allegedly targeted shootings at five Milwaukee high schools by a person wearing a clown mask. The threats were ultimately determined to not be credible.

Waukesha

Waukesha has been around the block with the Creepy Clown phenomenon. Last fall, a teen was giving Waukesha the creeps by dressing up as a creepy clown wearing an orange jumpsuit and a clown mask.

Pictures of Waukesha's creepy clown began popping up on social media, and one local news organization ruined all the fun - do we say fun in this case? - by solving the mystery of the creepy clown.
