Death Investigation On 5th Avenue

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police responded to a residence on S. 5th Ave. on July 10 on a report of person suffering a medical emergency.

According to police reports, a 911 caller requested emergency services for herself, stating she was having difficulty breathing.

While on the scene, first responders with the Oak Creek fire department advised that nobody was answering the door, and that police would have to force entry.

Once officers pried open a side door, they located a woman sitting in the kitchen on a chair. She was observed unconscious and breathing.

She was transported to the hospital, however on the way she stopped breathing. Police reported that fire department personnel performed CPR and lifesaving measures, attempts to revive her were unsuccessful.

The medical examiner was called to the scene later that morning. Her time of death was registered at 3:25 a.m.
