Dog Bites Oak Creek Girl in Face

The girl was transported to the emergency room at Children's Hospital, getting six stitches on her right cheek.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police responded to the 10500 block of S. Emerald Meadows Drive on July 3 just before 4 a.m. on a report of an animal bite.

Police were notified that a neighbor's dog, a German Shepard, bit their daughter in the face.

The girl was transported to the emergency room at Children's Hospital, getting six stitches on her right cheek.

Police made contact with the dog's owners, who ensured the dog would be quarantined at another's family's residence until they went back to Tennessee - their state of residence.

The owner advised that she would contact the vet when they opened in the morning to provide proof of vaccination information.
