Dog Walker's Golden Lab Crushes Curious Yorkie in Tragic Incident
Dog walkers in Oak Creek were mortified when a curious Yorkshire terrier ran up to see their golden lab - with tragic results.

OAK CREEK, WI — A curious Yorkshire Terrier died when it ran out to see two dog walkers on June 4.
According to Oak Creek police, a couple was walking their dogs near the intersection of S. Howell Ave. and E. Fairfield Dr. on the morning of June 4, when a Yorkshire on the 100 block of W. Fairfield Drive saw the dog walkers and ran out to see what was happening.
According to the reports, the dog walkers' golden lab mix picked up the Yorkshire in its mouth and started shaking it.

The dog appeared lifeless when the lab put the Yorkshire down, and the smaller dog eventually died.
The officer spoke with the homeowner, who confirmed that their female Yorkshire ran out into the street. According to police, both the dog walkers and home owners appeared remorseful over what happened and agreed to talk over the incident on how to handle it.
