Family 'Ticked' Off At Finding Unseemly Bug In Their Room
Police were called to Mainstay Suites after a family was accused of "causing a scene" after finding a tick in their room.

OAK CREEK, WI — A family who was upset after they reportedly found a tick in their room at the Mainstay Suites on College Ave. on the early morning of July 15, were met by police after they reportedly "caused a scene."
According to police reports, the man, woman and child were in the lobby after finding the tick, and had been "getting loud" according to staff.
The family left, however police caught up with them heading toward I-94 after the incident. They explained that they wanted their money back after finding bugs in their room, which led to the escalation.

They were ultimately refunded their deposit but not their rental money. The driver was cited for operating after suspension.
The clerk advised police that they did not want to pursue charges of disorderly conduct, though wanted to make clear they were not welcome back to Mainstay Suites.
