Fastenal Customer Dupes Minnesota Company Out of $2,000
According to police, a Fastenal Co. employee reported that a man picked up three tools and used a fraudulent credit card to make the buy.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police responded to a report of fraud at a local industrial equipment supplier on July 20, just after 3 p.m.
According to police, a Fastenal Co. employee reported that a man picked up three tools and used a fraudulent credit card to make the purchase.
Police spoke with the employee in person, who stated that a white male with long shoulder-length hair and a scraggly beard came into the store.

The employee told police that the man selected a Milwaukee Hammer Drill worth $568, a Milwaukee Hammer Drill Combo Kit valued at $695, and a Milwaukee Impact Wrench valued at $733.
The employee told police that the suspect asked him to bill the Alter Trading Company in Minnesota for the items - a common procedure for construction workers.

It wasn't too much later before Fastenal received a call from the Altrer Trading Company, stating that the man who billed their company for the tools was a scam artist, and did not work for them.
The Minnesota company stated the same thing that the Fastenal employee already knew: he was driving a silver Pontiac.
