Father Assaults Mother With 1-Month-Old Child In Hand

OAK CREEK, WI — The father of a one-month-old child has been arrested after police reported that he assaulted the mother as he held their son in his hand.

Oak Creek police responded to the 600 block of S. 20th St. just after 11 p.m. on Aug. 13 on a report of domestic violence.

According to police reports, the father of a one-month-old child assaulted the mother of the same child with the child in his hands at the time of the assault.

Police reports indicate that the ex-boyfriend of a woman came to see their child unannounced, which the woman allowed.

The reports stated that the couple began to argue, at which point the male pulled her hair, pulled her to the ground and hit her in the face.

At the time of the police call, the man was locked outside of the house, and was trying to kick the door down.

The man was arrested for disorderly conduct and domestic violence. Reports state that multiple witnesses saw the interaction between the man and the woman.
