OAK CREEK, WI — An Oak Creek man who tried protecting himself with a lamp against three men called police after he reported that he was assaulted at a party.

According to police reports, police responded to the Value Inn just after 4:30 a.m. on Sep. 10 on a report of diorderly conduct.

Reports indicated that the victim, who was highly intoxicated, stated he was assaulted by three subjects that he had been drinking with inside of the motel room.

He met the subjects that night through a friend who rented the room, but was not there at the time of the assault. They began verbally arguing with him and began slapping him on the left side of his face numerous times as the altercation escalated, the report states.

The apparent victim told police that he tried to protect himself with a lamp at the motel, which was observed to be broken.

When officers followed-up with another member of their party, he indicated that there was a verbal argument but nothing physical took place.
