'Lots of Blood' Oak Creek Man Gets Cut Across Chest With Grinder

Oak Creek police responded to Precicion Rail and Manufacturing on a report that a man had been cut across the chest with a grinder.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police responded to Precicion Rail and Manufacturing on the 6900 block of S. 10th St. just before 12:30 p.m. on May 10 on a report that a man had been cut across the chest with a grinder.

According to the report, the person who called police was trying to remove the grinder from the victim's chest, and that there was "lots of blood" but that the victim was conscious and breathing.

The report indicated that emergency responders observed a horizontal gash about six inches long and an inch-and-a-half wide on his chest that was treated and bandaged.

The apparent victim stated he was grinding grout from between cement blocks that were located over his head when the grinder kicked out and struck him in the chest.

The man reportedly yelled and stepped down from the scaffolding, telling a fellow worker that he just cut himself and to call 911.
