Man Steals $9,000 From Former Employer, Leaves State

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police responded to an Oak Creek business located on the 400 block of W. Forest Hill Ave. on June 2 on a report of an employee theft case.

According to reports, company officials reported a credit card theft from a previous employee, who made multiple unauthorized purchases on the card.

Company officials were able to provide officers with a copy of the bank statement which were believed to contain between $5,000 and $9,000 of unauthorized purchases.

The suspect reportedly lives in Minnesota, which is the location of where the unauthorized purchases were made.
