Man Who Choked Oak Creek Woman Arrested

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police responded to the 2100 block of W. Cedar St. after a woman reported that her husband tried to kill her at their residence.

Police made contact with the woman, who was out of the house and was waiting at the local Pick 'n Save.

When speaking with the woman, police learned that she ahd been physically attacked in their bedroom, including pushed onto her bed and choked for several minutes.

Police noted visible marks on her neck and an injury to her lip.

Police investigated the situation, and the man was transported to jail on suspicion of domestic violence-battery and strangulation.
