Oak Creek 7-Eleven Clerk Robbed at Gunpoint

Police are reporting that a man pointed a revolver at a 7-Eleven clerk before demanding money and driving off. Suspect description here:

OAK CREEK, WI — An armed robbery at the Oak Creek 7-Eleven left one store clerk extremely nervous and a suspect at large.

Oak Creek police responded to the 7-Eleven on Rawson Ave. just before 11 p.m. Sunday on a report of an armed robbery.

According to Oak Creek police, a 7-Eleven clerk reported she was just robbed at gunpoint by a male suspect. He reportedly left the scene in a boxy silver sedan on Rawson after the incident.

According to the report, the man walked into the 7-Eleven in a calm fashion, displayed a handgun that appeared to the clerk to be a revolver, announced the store was being robbed, demanded the store's money, which amounted to approximately $200-300, and then left at a high rate of speed.

According to police, they are searching for a black male in his mid 20s who is about five-foot-eight, about 150 lbs. with a mustache. He was wearing a gray or black sweatshirt with a red shirt underneath, a black hat with a red or orange emblem on it and black pants.

According to the police report, the clerk was "hysterical" after the stressful encounter with the gunman, and was checked out by Oak Creek fire and rescue personnel after the incident.

Officers conducted an evidence check at the scene to search for any evidence left behind, but nothing was located.
