Oak Creek Fraud Case Linked to Alabama Victoria's Secret

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police took a fraud report from a resident on the 8000 block of S. 13th St. on June 8.

According to police, the person stated that an unknown suspect accessed his checking account and passed two fraudulent checks at a Victoria's Secret in Alabama.

The first check was for $778 and the second one was for $384.

Each check reportedly had a different license number on it and that they were only different by one digit.

The person who notified police stated he was already reimbursed for the loss by Educator's Credit Union.
