Oak Creek High School Student Refuses to Talk to Police About Theft ... Until Mom Shows Up
An Oak Creek high school student accused of stealing more than $200 in clothes from Kohl's Department Store wouldn't talk. Then mom arrived.

OAK CREEK -- An Oak Creek high school student accused of stealing more than $200 in clothes from Kohl's Department Store wouldn't talk to police ... until his mother brought the stolen clothes to show officers while he was at school.
According to Oak Creek police, a retail theft case involving the student was recorded on the store's security footage just after 11 a.m. on Oct. 20.
The student selected men's outer wear along with sock and shoes. Store footage showed the student stuffing the items into a Nike duffel bag before walking past the cash registers and out of the store.

Police located the theft suspect at Oak Creek High School later that day, but the young man reportedly refused to talk with officer regarding the accusation.
The young man's mother reportedly came to the high school after she found them in her son's bedroom closet and suspected they might have been stolen.

The items were confirmed stolen by police and later returned back to the store.
Officers are following-up on the incident after Kohl's loss prevention personnel informed them they are looking into two other retail theft incidents to determine whether it was the same person as the Oct. 20 incident involving the student.
If that were the case, according to the report, police can look into filing a state charge.
