Oak Creek Man Reports Missing 4 Guns

OAK CREEK, WI — A person walked into the Oak Creek police department on July 5 to report several missing guns.

According to police, on July 4, the man noticed that his Baretta 92FS 9mm, Smith and Wesson .22 caliber target pistol and a vintage 1920s French revolver, in addition to a Crossman pellet gun were not in his safe. He stated that he had 4 rifles in the same safe that were not taken.

He told police that he is not sure the last time he knew the guns were in the safe, but that it was at least a few months ago.

Both keys to the gun safe were accounted for. There are no signs of forced entry to the safe or home, and nothing else was missing from the residence.
