Oak Creek Man With Stroke Tries Driving Self To Hospital
Oak Creek police had to intervene after an adult who was suffering from symptoms of a stroke attempted to drive himself to the hospital.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police had to intervene after an adult who was suffering from symptoms of a stroke attempted to drive himself to the hospital.
According to police reports, a man's father left their residence in a red van after he fainted and later insisted on driving to the hospital himself.

He was reportedly dizzy and very sick and headed to St. Luke's South Shore, when his son had called police.
Officers checked the area and located the vehicle returning to the residence.
He was found stumbling around the vehicle parked on the 300 block of W. Sunnyview Dr. After attempting to extract the man from the vehicle, his keys were confiscated, prohibiting his exit by vehicle.

Oak Creek first responders arrived on the scene and transported him to Wheaton Franklin for symptoms of a stroke.
