Oak Creek Mom and Dad Wanted Son Arrested for Stealing Religious Statues

When an unhappy son snuck through a window to steal two religious statues valued at $700, mom and dad wanted him arrested.

OAK CREEK, WI — The parents of an unhappy son wanted him arrested for theft after the son reportedly stole two statues pertaining their religion - the religion of Santeria, an Afro-American religion of Caribbean origin.

According to police reports, Oak Creek police responded to the home on the 2100 block of W. College Ave. just before 8:30 p.m. on April 28.

The report states that the son entered a window and stole two statues valued at $700 total.

Police later received a call from the family, stating that the son was mad at the mother who reportedly took money from him.

Police spoke with the son, who admitted to taking the statues and told police where he had hid them.
