Oak Creek Mother Of Newborn Has Car Stolen By Father Of Child

OAK CREEK, WI — A man who had just brought the mother of his newborn child back from the hospital reportedly stole her car.

Oak Creek police responded to the Oak Park Apartments just before 1 p.m. on May 30 on a report that a woman's ex-boyfriend just stole her car and took the key away from her by using force.

According to the report, the vehicle, a light blue Chevrolet Cruze, was taken by the boyfriend after an apparent incident.

The report stated that the man, who had an open warrant for his arreste with the Marquette County Sheriff's office for resisting an officer, told the woman that he wanted to the keys "to go buy something."

The report statess that the man had recently brought the woman home from thie hospital with their newborn baby.
