Oak Creek Police Arrest Driver Who Gave Them Phony ID
A traffic stop for a suspended vehicle registration led to an arrest on multiple charges for a female motorist.

OAK CREEK -- A traffic stop for a suspended vehicle registration led to an arrest on multiple charges for a female motorist who initially gave police a phony identity.
According to Oak Creek police reports, an officer conducted a traffic stop on the 900 block of W. Ryan Rd. just after 1 a.m. on Jan. 9 for an apparent suspended registration.
When the officer made contact with the driver, the driver provided the officer with false identification.

When police conducted an in-house search on the registration plates, the person's real identity was determined, and showed that she had one warrant out through Oak Creek Police for operating a motor vehicle while suspended, one through the Milwaukee County Sheriff's office for delivery/manufacture of cocaine and one warrant through the state department of corrections for carrying a concealed weapon.
A subsequent search of her vehicle resulted in the location of a blunt. Officers also suspected the driver was under the influence of crack cocaine.
She was arrested and agreed to submit to a chemical blood test.
