Oak Creek Police Assist in Reviving 16-Month-Old Baby
An officer on scene reported that the baby went unconscious and then stopped breathing for about 30 seconds.

OAK CREEK -- Oak Creek police lent a helping hand this week, after a 16-month-old baby was in dire need of some lifesaving attention.
Oak Creek police responded to a home on the 8400 block of Verdev Drive just before 11 p.m. on New Year's Eve on a report that a 16-month-old baby was not breathing and turning purple.
Two officers were dispatched and quickly responded to the scene. According to the police report, while CPR was being started just prior to their arrival, the baby began to cry.

Water was splashed on the baby and she began to cry, according to the report.
Oak Creek Fire transported the baby to Children's Hospital for medical evaluation after learning that the baby had been sick - but had suffered no other known health problems.
