Oak Creek Police Investigating Rash of Burglary Cases; 44 in Last 3+ Months

According to police, home and garage burglaries do not seem to have a pattern and have occurred during day and evening hours.

OAK CREEK -- A season-long burglary wave with no discernible pattern has hit Oak Creek, and city officials are encouraging the public to be on the lookout for suspicious activity.

The city has seen 44 burglary calls in the last three-and-a-half months.

On the morning of September 13, 2016 in the City of Oak Creek, there was an occupied residential burglary with auto theft. This type of crime, burglary with auto theft has occurred twice in a short period of time.

According to police, burglaries of residential homes and garages do not seem to have a pattern and have occurred during daytime and nighttime hours.

All residents are asked to be observant and report all suspicious activity to the police department – 762-8200 – press 0. If you have information on any of the burglaries that have occurred in the City of Oak Creek – call Oak Creek Crime Stoppers- 766-7699 to remain completely anonymous. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
