Oak Creek Police Respond to Fight Call; Only Find Running Weed Whacker

OAK CREEK -- Oak Creek police were dispatched to the Country Oaks Apartment on a report of two people fighting, but when they arrived, all they found was a weed whacker that was still running.

Oak Creek police were dispatched to the apartment complex at 445 W. Puetz Road after they were notified that a person was weed whacking in front of the property when another person went outside to confront him.

A fight ensued after an argument took place near the bush at the corner of W. Puetz Rd. and S. Country Dr.

Officers checked the area, but did not locate anyone.

Officers stated there were fresh grass clippings on the ground where the weed whacking had taken place, but the combatants were nowhere to be found.
